Really impressed with the Buffalo textile gilet so far. It’s been perfect for Scottish spring and summer mornings when there’s still a bit of a nip in the air and a breeze about. I mainly use it for walking the dogs early in the morning, but it’s also been excellent out on the hills hiking where conditions can change quickly.
I’ve also used it for early morning road and trail runs and it performs really well. Very breathable when moving, doesn’t feel clammy, and it copes surprisingly well if you get caught in a shower.
Fit is spot on for me in a medium — close enough without restricting movement and layers nicely over a hoodie or base layer.

This jacket works really well as an outer layer in mild/moderate conditions and as a mid layer in more extreme conditions.
Excellent quality and good fit
Patch looks great on the shoulder of my new blue belay jacket. Really happy Buffalo has a bigger selection of jacket colours with these added patch options.
