Brand Ambassadors

Paul Skivington’s mantra is simple – No Excuses.

Having served in the UK Armed Forces, Paul now spends more time with his family where they travel, and explore new and wild places. Paul and his family usually travel extensively throughout the year but with Covid 19 altering plans for this year, he has shifted his focus and thirst for adventure towards endeavours closer to home.

Fresh out of his Hard 75 Challenge – Paul will be pushing himself forward with new and exciting challenges that are sure to inspire us all into taking a new look at our adventure schedule.

Kinlay Francis – AKA The Viking – specialises in offering his clients a bespoke adventure in a setting that you are sure not to easily forget….The Orkney Isles. For more info on Orkney Uncovered you can visit: Orkney Uncovered – Private Guided Orkney Tours Specialising in Wartime & Ancient Orkney

This breathtaking landscape is a fantastic testing ground for our gear and with Kinlay’s experience and knowledge of the historic landscapes he is a perfect partner to help test and refine our range. A tremendously well rounded active outdoor enthusiast, Kinlay is also a family driven man who is at home on the wild sea cliffs or on a gentle moorland trek with his wife, son and Labrador Holly .

Katie Tunn is our newest brand ambassador to the Buffalo Systems family. Katie is an artist, writer, adventurer and marine conservationist living in the Isle of Skye on the Scottish North West Coast.

Described by The Times newspaper as a ‘serial castaway’, Katie’s adventures are inspired by escapism, a desire to get closer to nature and a will to explore with minimal environmental impact.

We are extremely proud to have her as part of our small team. Look out for her #82Islands challenge …. On every island she will be completing four tasks; sleeping outdoors overnight in a bivvy bag, wild swimming, creating a piece of artwork and doing a beach clean or litter pick. The first three activities are immersive experiences that encourage the observation of a place; they’re a gentle way to absorb and learn about the island. The fourth is about leaving somewhere ‘better than you found it’. Keep watching our news feeds and social media channels for further updates on her progress. Good luck Katie!
